No doubt about it, the Lady Cardinals are on a roll.
They won for a 19th-straight time Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Gym, taking it to Paris for an 87-57 win that keeps them in control of the Region XIV Conference race.
Now 20-2 on the season and 7-0 in conference, the Lady Cardinals have their longest win streak intact since winning the last 25 games of the 2013-14 season their way to the program's eighth NJCAA championship.
The Lady Cardinals have a big week ahead of them. Wednesday, they go to Kilgore for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff. Saturday, they are at home against Blinn at 2 p.m.
Six Lady Cardinals score in double figures, led by Malaya Jones with 15. Kenidi Glover had 14, Taylor Day-Davis 13, Mylasia Smith 12 and Saliz Ward and Nneoma Aliozor 10 each.
Day-Davis, Aliozor and Smith had seven rebounds each.
The Lady Cardinals were up 40-24 at the half. They led 60-39 going into the fourth quarter.
Paris fell to 11-11 and 3-4.
