For her first game as a Lady Cardinal at Cardinal Gym, Ariana Dyson put on a show.
The 6-1 sophomore transfer from Locust Grove, Ga., poured in 30 points Wednesday night to lead the 15th-ranked Lady Cardinals to a 97-77 non-conference win against LSU-Eunice.
The win improved the Lady Cardinals to 2-1 on the young season. LSU-Eunice dropped to 1-1.
The Lady Cardinals are scheduled to be at home against Saturday against Hill College. Game time is 3 p.m.
Four other Lady Cardinals joined Dyson in double-digit scoring, topped by Nylia Wilkins with 17. Monica Marsh had 13, Da'Naya Ross 12 and Gabby Morales 10.
The Lady Cardinals led 55-44 at the half after a 32-point second quarter.
