Cardettes

Carlie grew up in the Austin area and began dancing at the age of two. She competed in the studio circuit with Cedar Park Dance Company from age 5, until she was 13 years old. At that time, she then transitioned to dancing with the Silver Stars drill team at Running Brushy Middle School. As a high school freshman she was a Rhythm Dance Company member, and then danced as a 3-year member of the Rouse Royals varsity drill team before graduating in 2021.

 

Carlie arrived at TVCC in 2021 and became a member of the 61st Cardette line. As a freshman, she was a Cardette Showgirl and 2022 DTU College Classic Open Pom Champion, and was voted to receive the "Cardette Cleans" award during the team’s awards banquet. As a sophomore she served as the Captain, where she marched the 2022-2023 team through Washington DC in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. By the conclusion of her time at Trinity Valley, she had earned her way onto the Dean's List, was voted as the sophomore “Cardette of the Year”, and once again received the "Cardette Cleans" award. She graduated in the spring of 2023.

 

In August of 2024, Carlie returned to Trinity Valley to serve as the Assistant Coach of the TVCC Cardettes and Cardette Showgirls.
