The win raised the Cardinals' season record to 18-4 on the year and 11-3 in Region XIV Conference. Angelina slipped to 12-10 and 6-8.
The Cardinals are scheduled to travel Wednesday to Paris for a 6 p.m. tipoff. They are scheduled to be at home again Saturday against Bossier Parish at 4 p.m.
Angelina turned the ball over 21 times against the Cardinals' smothering defense, resulting in a lopsided 24-2 Cardinal edge in points off turnovers. The Cardinals had seven turnovers.
Armani Henderson put the Cardinals on his back and supplied a large portion of the scoring with 19 points, including four three-pointers. Henderson also had six rebounds and four steals.
Braylon Wenger was also in double figures with 15 points, hitting three three-pointers. M.J. Wardlow had 10 points for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals led 35-18 at the half and then proceeded to hold Angelina to 17 points in the final 20 minutes.
