Three players on the Trinity Valley men's basketball team were reminded once again how much good they can do with their platform as a Cardinal.
Amaad Wainright, Andres Ibarguen, and Amanze Njoku-ibe had opportunity to visit Eustace Intermediate School this week. The players got to have a little fun in the gym and had the chance to meet several members of the faculty and staff. Regarded as one of the top schools in this area, the campus is under the direction of TVCC graduate Robert Reeve.
"I remember being little and looking up to guys like us who would come into their schools," freshman forward Amanze Njoku-ibe said. "It's normal to us, but to them we're like superheroes. It's great to be able to give them that kind of excitement. I appreciate Coach Furr and Coach Sikes giving us this opportunity".
The team has several community service projects scheduled in the future.
