Gray is in his first season in 2025, serving as coach for the defensive backs.
He comes to the Cardinal program after four seasons at Highland Community College, where he was the defensive coordinator.
Gray previously coached at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Coffeyville Community College and Butler Community College. He has recruited over 30 players who have signed to the NCAA Division 1 level during his coaching career.
The Warner Robbins, Georgia native was a strong football player himself as he earned first team All-KJCCC honors and All-American honors will helping Butler Community College to 12-0 and 11-1 records in 2006 and 2007. In two seasons with Butler, Gray finished with 94 tackles and nine interceptions and helped the Grizzles win a National Championship. After playing at Butler, Gray transferred to Oklahoma State where he played in 22 games in over the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
Gray has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University.
